Following in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we strive to bring about sustainable holistic change within the Ethiopian and worldwide community. The heart of the ministry lies in inclusive faith-based values towards resolving community problems. The ministry will work in areas of leadership, education, training, and holistic ministry towards bringing a solution.

Solutions, we believe, will and should begin from the church, who works to bring forth a holy and righteous generation. GEIHM works directly with the church towards the equipment of spiritual and lay- leaders. The church is also an avenue to reach the whole community towards the sustainable transformation of society through collaborative efforts.

Short History

Empowering Holistically

Growing up in a community where basic needs were constant was overshadowed by the severity of incompetence among those who ought to help. Mr. Gedion Telila, founder and Director of GEIHM, believed that change was not merely the absence of need, rather it is rising above the norm towards alleviating systemic problems to bring about sustainable change. Christ found Mr. Gedion Telila at a very young age, and he grew up in the church where the mighty deeds of the Lord and his promises were more real than his breath. However, a simple observation of his surroundings indicated a systemic failure of Christian Institutions. Hence a vision was born.

Generation needs to be empowered, beginning in the church and overflowing to the whole community. Mr. Gedion Telila believed in the transformative power of the Gospel, the expansion of the Kingdom of God is a means to usher Shalom among the society. Hence with a small dream, he began forging his God-appointed path to empower the generation holistically beginning from the heart of the Kingdom of God on earth the church, to the whole of the world towards ‘Empowering Holistically’ his and the coming generation.
